An accomplished neurosurgeon and researcher, Dr. David Greenwald has more than 20 years of experience practicing in Florida and California. Treating patients through Comprehensive MD in Fort Lauderdale, his professional interests include skull-base and brain tumor surgery as well as a variety of complex spinal procedures. Previously, Dr. David Greenwald spent more than nine years as a neurosurgeon at Neuro Spine Florida in St. Augustine.

In recognition of his outstanding service, Dr. Greenwald earned the Patients' Choice Award from 2008 to 2014. He holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from Occidental College and his MD from the University of Southern California, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and a recipient of the Merck Book Award for Academic Excellence. Subsequently, he completed an internship in the Department of Surgery and a residency in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Florida Shands Hospital.

Outside of his professional interests, Dr. Greenwald stays active through hobbies including scuba diving, tennis, and golf.
